The 2021 Little Maverick Graphic Novel Reading List is a recommended reading list of graphic novels designed for children in grades K-5. Graphic novels have the ability to welcome everyone into a reading conversation. These novels can teach students about history in a lively, easy-to-understand way, as with History Comics: Roanoke Colony: America’s First Mystery, as well as illuminate significant figures of our own time, as demonstrated by Becoming RBG: Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Journey to Justice.
